One of two ever built. Desiged by Andrew Broadley who’s father designed the Ford GT at Ford Motor Co Between 1966 and 1969

1966 GT40 North America GT40 Sport! Produced to recreate the Iconic Original GT40 by Indianapolis 500 Winner Ari Luyendyk’s Engineers to an Extremely High Quality using state of the art materials including a Full Carbon Fiber Body, Ford Racing Engine mated to a Manual 5 Speed ZF Trans-axle and producing 550HP and 535 ft-lb’s of Torque, weighing in at a super lite 2016 lb’s!! Designed by Andrew Broadley whose father built the original GT40 at Ford between 1966 and 1969. As you can imagine this car is extremely accurate to the original and uses no South African parts or body panels like a lot of the other “kit” cars that are available today. Only 2 of these examples have been built and they were awarded the “Best Domestic Automobile” at the 2006 Las Vegas SEMA show and was Showcased by Roush at the show

My brief Review and then on to the stats;

If anyone would have told me that an all electric car would take me for a jaw dropping, white knuckle ride around the track I would have dismissed the notion as pure fantasy. I was wrong

The 2010 Tesla Roadster is nothing short of “engineering geek meets speed demon”. Oh, and there’s this other thing,,,,,you’ll find you just can’t stop staring. Its kind of like that first car in high school where you schlep to the garage three or four times that night to see if its really yours. Now you can experience that feeling again.

And so my fellow car enthusiasts today’s theme is in honor of the Tesla is simply “Plug and Play”

Oh, and I saved the best for last; I used to say “fight back at the pump” with this hybrid or that hi mpg car. But the Tesla says NO to the pump because there is no more trips to the pump.
